It is the year 1853. You are a young minor noble who is going to spend up to a month in the famous Alpine resort town of Ischl. You plan to improve your health, meet as many interesting people as possible, be invited to evening events and generally have a good time.

A "Sommerfrische Simulator" and a game in which  dying from boredom is actually a game mechanic. It was planned as an entry for the "Historically Accurate Game Jam", but I missed the deadline by a few hours ...

This is pretty historically accurate. All the persons mentioned were in Ischl in August 1853. Most arrival dates are randomized, though.   All the  places really existed, even the names of the mineral waters were taken from contemporary sources ;-) The plays in the theatre were shown in July and August of 1853, as were the concerts in the Casino.  Definitely not historically accurate: The protagonist's gender does not influence what they can do in the game and whom they can meet.

This is pure interactive fiction without any graphics, made in Twine/Harlowe. I plan to  make a prettier graphical version someday.
